Dodoma, the political capital of Tanzania, is located in the central highlands of the country, close to the geometric center of the country and about 400 kilometers east of the economic center of Dar es Salaam. As the political center of Tanzania, Dodoma is located at an altitude of about 1,115 meters above sea level, with a dry and cool climate and a population of about 410,000 people. Dodoma has an improving infrastructure, a fast-growing city, two universities and attracts tourists with its rich agricultural areas and beautiful natural landscapes. Despite its relatively weak economy, as a political center, Dodoma plays an important role in the governance of the country.
