Viñales is located in Cuba and is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes in the country. It is an 11-kilometer-long and 5-kilometer-wide valley surrounded by the majestic Sierra de los Ogonos Mountains. It was designated a national monument in 1979 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999.
