Blue Nile Falls, located near the city of Bahir Dar in Ethiopia, means "water of smoke" and is one of the most spectacular waterfalls in Africa. The waterfall is about 45 meters high and can reach a width of 400 meters in the rainy season. The water flow is huge, the mist is diffused, and rainbows are often seen across the canyon. On the way to the waterfall, you will pass an ancient stone bridge built in the 17th century, feeling the sedimentation of history. It is recommended to go there in the rainy season to experience the majestic momentum of the waterfall and feel the shocking charm of nature.
