The Arusha Cultural Heritage Center is an important cultural landmark in northern Tanzania, located in the city of Arusha at the southern foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro, which is known as the “Geneva of Africa” because of its centrality to international diplomacy and peacebuilding. As a window to Tanzania's diverse cultural heritage, the Cultural Center integrates the traditional arts, crafts and history of the local Maasai, Kilimanjaro and other tribes to provide visitors with an immersive cultural experience. The Center not only preserves and inherits Tanzania's rich intangible cultural heritage, but also promotes intercultural exchange and understanding through exhibitions, performances and interactive activities.
