Mount Moiwa is about 531 meters above sea level, about 5-7 kilometers from the city center. It is surrounded by dense forests and has a rich natural landscape, such as the pine and bodhi trees in the primeval forest of Hokkaido, with a total of about 400 species of vegetation. You can take the aerial cable car and mini cable car to the top of the mountain to easily reach the observation deck, overlooking the bustling Sapporo city and Ishikari Plain, and the Sea of Japan in the distance. The city lights are bright at night, and it has been rated as one of the new three major night views in Japan.
