The Negros Museum is located in Bacolod City, Philippines, in the Negros Occidental Provincial Capitol complex. The building was originally built in 1925 as the Provincial Agricultural Building. The museum opened on March 16, 1996 and moved to its current location in 2003. Instead of focusing on precious artifacts, the museum showcases the history, art and culture of Negros Island through contemporary original artworks and high-quality reproductions, as well as local endangered animal specimens.
