Yongduam Rock is located on the coast of Yongdam-dong, Jeju City, Jeju Island, South Korea. It is a volcanic rock formed by the cooling of lava from the Hallasan volcano 2 million years ago. It is 10 meters high and 30 meters long, and is named after its shape resembling a dragon head. Legend has it that a dragon was shot by a god when it tried to ascend to heaven to steal a jade bead, and it turned into a huge rock during its struggle. It is a symbol of Jeju tourism. If you watch it in the evening, it looks like a winding dragon against the backdrop of the sunset, which is very spectacular.
