The Northern Maritime Museum is located at 24 Brygstraat. It consists of two historic buildings from the 15th century, the Gothic House and the Kantor House. The museum has more than 10,000 collections, exhibiting objects related to the shipbuilding and shipping history in the northern Netherlands from the Middle Ages to the present, such as ship models, drawings, navigation tools, etc.
