Plaza Mayor in Salamanca, Spain, was built between 1729 and 1755 and is an outstanding example of Baroque architecture. The square is an irregular square with 6 entrances, 88 arches, and 247 balconies. It used to be a bullring and a market, but now it is the city center and a popular check-in spot, with many restaurants and shops around it, and it is magnificent under the lights at night.
