Chichen Itza is located in the central and eastern part of Yucatan, Mexico. It is the site of an ancient Mayan city. There are hundreds of buildings here, which combine the characteristics of Mayan and Toltec culture, such as the Quetzalcoatl Pyramid and the Warrior Temple. It was listed as a World Heritage Site in 1988.
