Tagbo Falls

Tagbo Falls

Tagbo Falls is located in the village of Latiwater in the Volta region of Ghana, close to Mount Afajato, the highest peak in Ghana. The waterfall is about 60 meters high and falls in multiple stages, surrounded by dense tropical rainforest. From the village, it takes about 45 minutes to walk to the waterfall, passing through cocoa gardens and forest trails with flying butterflies. The waterfall has cultural significance to the local Ewe people and is the site of traditional ceremonies. Visitors can swim in the cool pools and feel the tranquility and sacredness of nature.
