Located in the Volta region of Ghana, the Kpando Pottery Village is a female-led pottery cooperative founded in 1998 to improve the quality of life of women in the community through pottery education. At the Kpando Fesi Shed, visitors can witness the entire process from clay mixing, hand-shaping to traditional wood-fired firing, and experience the unique charm of pottery. The pottery here is known for its black luster and exquisite textures. It combines practicality and artistry, showing the creativity and tenacity of local women.
