Hammamet Fortress, also known as the Kasbah of Hammamet, is located in the city of Hammamet on the east coast of Tunisia. This historic fortress was built in the 9th century AD and is an outstanding example of Arab military defense architecture. The walls of the fortress are thick, the layout is rigorous, and inside the mosque, the watchtower and the prison and other facilities.
