Fiordland National Park is located at the southwestern tip of New Zealand's South Island, bordering the Tasman Sea. It is the largest national park in New Zealand and one of the largest in the world. The park has magnificent fjords, lakes and waterfalls, and is a paradise for birdwatchers and hikers. It was listed as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1986.
