Kalibobo Lighthouse is located on Kalibobo Point in Madang Province. It was built between 1958 and 1959 to commemorate the heroic deeds of the Coastwatchers during World War II. The red-and-white striped tower is maintained by the National Maritime Safety Agency (NMSA) and serves as both a navigational aid for mariners and an important local landmark. Climbing the tower offers a breathtaking view of the turquoise Bismarck Sea, with commemorative plaques surrounding the area. The tower hosts annual events such as ANZAC Day during Easter, and the sunset views are particularly spectacular.
