Bomana War Cemetery

Bomana War Cemetery

Bomana War Cemetery is located on the outskirts of Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea. Built in 1942, it is one of the largest cemeteries in the Pacific. Nearly 3,800 Allied soldiers who died for their country during World War II, most of whom were Australians, are buried here. The cemetery is a beautiful place to remember history and pay tribute to the martyrs.
