Embalse San Jacinto is a multifunctional reservoir located about 7 kilometers southwest of Tarija, Bolivia. It was built in 1989 and is mainly used for agricultural irrigation, electricity production and urban water supply. The reservoir is not only an important water resource guarantee for the Tarija region, but also a leisure resort for local residents and tourists due to its tranquil lake landscape and surrounding natural beauty.
