Jeju Island is the largest island in South Korea, located in the southwest of the Korean Peninsula. It is a typical volcanic island, formed by weathering and erosion after the cessation of volcanic activity. There are many natural landscapes on the island, such as Hallasan National Park. In 2007, "Jeju Volcanic Island and Lava Tubes" was listed as a World Heritage Site. Jeju Island is also a famous tourist resort with many tourists every year.
