Barranquilla is the fourth largest city in Colombia, located in the Magdalena River Delta on the Caribbean Sea in the north of the country, and is the capital of the Atlantic Province. It is an important industrial center and seaport with diverse architectural styles. It is also a tourist center. The Barranquilla Carnival is its famous cultural event.
