The Master of the Nets Garden is located in Gusu District, Suzhou, and is a representative work of Suzhou gardens. It was first built in the Southern Song Dynasty and renamed during the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. Although it is small in size, it has an exquisite layout, with a pool as the center, pavilions, rocks, flowers and trees scattered in an orderly manner, and many attractions such as Dianchun Pavilion, which fully demonstrate the beauty of Jiangnan gardens. It was listed as a UNESCO Cultural Heritage in 1997.
