Suzhou Museum is located at No. 204, Dongbei Street, Gusu District, Suzhou City. It was first established on January 1, 1960. The old museum was the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom Zhongwang Mansion. The current museum was designed by I.M. Pei and opened in 2006, covering an area of about 10,700 square meters. It is based on the concept of "Chinese and new, Suzhou and new", integrating architecture into gardens. The museum has more than 20,000 collections and multiple displays, showing the historical and cultural charm of Suzhou.
