Hoi An Ancient Town is located on the north bank of the Thu Bon River in the suburbs of Da Nang in central Vietnam. It is a well-preserved traditional trading port in Southeast Asia from the 15th to the 19th century. There are many Chinese, Japanese and French buildings here, such as the Nihonbashi Bridge and the Chung Hwa Guildhall. The buildings and streets are unique in style. It was listed on the World Heritage List in 1999 and is full of historical and cultural charm.
