Japanese Covered Bridge

The Japanese Covered Bridge is a landmark building in Hoi An. It was built in 1593 by Japanese merchants and combines Japanese and Vietnamese architectural styles. There are statues of monkeys and dogs at both ends of the bridge. There is also a temple in the middle of the bridge dedicated to Bac Tai Zhenwu. It has witnessed the historical changes and cultural integration of Hoi An for more than 400 years.
