Plaza Sotomayor

Plaza Sotomayor is the well-deserved core and the most lively place in Valparaiso. The solemn and solemn Naval Hero Monument in the center of the square was built to commemorate the death of Captain Arturo Pratt and hundreds of naval officers and soldiers in the Battle of Iquique between Chile and Peru on May 21, 1879.
