Summer Palace

Summer Palace

Summer Palace is the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China, located in the northwest suburb of Beijing. Built in the Qing Dynasty, it combines the garden style of Jiangnan with the royal architectural style, with Kunming Lake and Wanshou Mountain as the core, with beautiful scenery, and is known as the “Royal Garden Museum”. Inside the garden, there are famous attractions such as Buddha's Fragrant Pavilion, Long Corridor and Seventeen-hole Bridge, which show the exquisite ancient architectural skills. The Summer Palace is not only a summer resort for the Qing Dynasty royal family, but also an important attraction for tourists to appreciate the traditional Chinese garden art and experience the history and culture, and is listed on the World Cultural Heritage List.
